Hmmmm, seems you have to scroll to see the entire image?

I think you've captured the image just at the right time. The sky looks absolutely fantastic, great texture. Awsome detail and great contrast with the orange and blue!

Keep them coming
Thanks Andy, and yes you can now view the image without scrolling but it's pretty small, most forums show images at 800 pixels wide, that might be a problem with potential posters. Any ideas on how you could allow a larger image without scrolling?

Allen, I really appreciate the feedback and support! This is what I am looking for in the early stage of opening the website, feedback and suggestions. So, thanks. Well.. I could make the layout expand horizontally.. however that would cause a problem for people running on 800 x 600 and thoes on 1024 x 768 (And anything below 1000 pixels wide, which is the current width of the layout) - Which means any image posted, which is larger than 480~ pixels would mean the user has to scroll, regardless or not we make the images full scale or not.

What do you think would be most beneficial? Maybe the image scaled down.. and then when the user.. hovers over it, it goes to full size maybe? I'm not sure - But please feel free to suggest any ideas you have for it, or anything else you find wrong with the site for that matter!

Andy

Andy

Yes Andy, that is exactly what I was thinking, that would be very cool, and different than anything out there right now. Would love to see how that would work.

I think if some one posts a massive image, it should be scaled down to a size to fit into the forum's theme, and then to view the bigger image, you click on it, and then it'll open it in a new window.

That's correct Keith, that's what i have done.. (had it scaled down) But i haven't found a nice way to let the users view the larger image.. I think i might know one though, similiar to your opening in a new window.. I'll have a go at that =)

Thanks

Andy have a look at the portfolio on my website, the way that you view the larger images on there would be appropriate.
