I love being able to take closeups of things without being able to disturb them. I have been able to get some good shots of animals and insects without being close enough to make them fly away. What about you?

I hate the close up shots that I make, they somehow always come out looking wrong.Those pictures gave me the creeps but they looked good. Keep up the great work Jungle Jim.

The bee flying is a very nice shot. You can feel the urgency in doing the job and not stopping. The fly is a bit more icky, but I suppose thats what good pictures do:make you really think about the subject.
