Polaroids?
Has anyone ever gotten a semi-awesome picture using one of those instant Polaroid cameras? I would never use a Polaroid for work shots but for just taking pictures of the family I find they are great for scrapbooks. Do you like Polaroid cameras or do you dislike them? Just a curious question. |

I still use them for holiday pictures since they develop right then and there. Especially when we have people visiting that aren't normally close or a new baby in the family. Instant gratification in the form of a picture you can show off as you go along instead of waiting for a digital and printing can't be replaced for some things. |

I haven't used a polaroid camera but i do use a large format with polaroid film. You basically slide the loaded film in, expose it, pull it out and something break releasing the chemicals that develop it,leave for 30 seconds then pull the two pieces apart and you have and you have your picture. I only really use it for portraits and studio work coz large format is a bitch to carry around. And to answer you question, yes i like polaroids. |
