What Kind of Camera Bag?
I accidentally caught my camera bag on fire this weekend on a camping trip. It was given to me by a friend and has no tag/brand name anywhere. I only use it because it was free. So I'm wondering how to pick out a new camera bag? Are there any nice brands I should check out online? |

I like Kodak for much of my other equipment. I use a kodak bag; it isn't the exact fit for my camera but it is a good fit. The padding is nice, and it is sturdy and with plenty of storage space. I have two kodaks, a small one for every day use that will hold my camera, six spare memory cards, a set of batteries, my camera cable, and has side, webbed pockets that I keep things like my eye drops in. The larger one will hold both my digital and film camera as well as my mini tripod, separate flash uni, light meter, spare cards, cable, two or three diapers (when my kid was still young enough), wipes, and a snack. And it is not a big bag at all, just an excellent design. The padded dividers inside of course can be moved. I'd highly recommend these bags. |

Do they come in colors? I adopted the last one because it was purpley/blue. Although the black ones probably look more professional I rather liked being able to recognize my bag if it got left behind somewhere. Are they available in waterproof fabric? I like to take snow pictures alot and the snow always seems to melt before I remember to clear it off the bag. |

I usually check out Ebay for online buying resources but you can also do a google search. As with many accessories, camera bags come in different shades of colors. If your into do it yourself crafts you could make one yourself! |

Kodak do have a fashion series, but I am not impressed with it as far as looking protective. It looks rather feeble for that. Canon looks better with colour and protection too. My bags are both just black-I figure that black goes with anything! |
