Would it not be better to save up and get something better than to just splash out on something that isnt as good as you could get in a months time maybe. Also what sort of camera are you looking for, point & shoot or a DSLR. |

The other thing you could do is check out Ebay for a better camera at a lower price. You might not get a Nikon or anything spectacular for that but you would certainly do better than buying new. |

Nooo for £150, Amazon.co.uk: Fuji FinePix S6500 Digital Camera (6.3MP, 10.7x optical zoom) 2.5" LCD: Electronics & Photo Personally i rate this thing better than most basic SLR's. You can use it as a point and shoot, or flcik to manual and you have more settings than on my 350D. personally there a great bit of kit, at a fraction of the price. However if you want the versatility, and picture quality, its an SLR everytime, it will cost you more, but buy say a canon or nikon body and len.... and you set up for life, providing you dont change manufacturer.
Canon 350D -Sigma 10-20mm,Canon 18-55mm, Canon 55-200mm, Canon 100-400mm L
