I take alot of photo competition headshots. My lighting in my studio is awesome for just about every picture I have taken. However, I have been trying to shot a child that is wearing a white knitted cap and white knitted sweater with a Turquoise background. All the pictures are coming out really dark thus giving tons of noise on the picture. any suggestions as to why this keeps happening?? I have tried twice now and still they keep coming out dark. Is my camera seeing the white clothing on her and adjusting the ISO automatically?? Help!!!!!

What kind of camera are you using? Are you shooting in manual mode?
